Štrbské Pleso is the highest settlement in the High Tatras. On the southern slopes of Front Soliska, almost 9 km of light and medium-sized slopes extend. Distance from the town of Poprad is 28 km.
The highest point in the resort is Solisko with an altitude of 1825 m. From Soliska there are unique views of the Podtatranska valley, Krivan and the Low Tatras, there is also a buffet and a mountain chalet with hot meals.
In recent years Strbske Pleso has significantly expanded the range of downhill courses. The new feature is the blue track 1750 m long, built in the area between the slopes of Interski and Esíčko. The area of the new slopes is about 8 ha. Also new is the Maxiland Children's Park in a new location near the parking lot. The new 2014/15 season features a new full-automatic snowfall, the Solisko ski slopes and the Furkota ski slope, 170 m long, and the Junior Downhill and the 580-meter Bottom of the Tour.
